These classes provide a quiet space where, in small groups, children can relax and have fun. Using stories such as The Hungry Caterpillar they practise simple balance and stretching exercises to promote body awareness. Breathing exercises encourage the children to consider the importance of breathing to enhance relaxation and self-control thus stimulating positive mental health and building resilience. Games and artefacts are incorporated into the sessions to enable the children to explore their thoughts and feelings.
